League City Impact Gets Ready for their First Fall Game(s) This Weekend

League City Impact is (im)patiently waiting for the Fall Season to begin. Every year, the team signs up for a double header Sunday League with 2-3 weekend tournaments scattered through the season. This year, Impact will use the league to help develop their skills in the 2023 11U Baseball USA Sunday DH Fall League with their first games scheduled for Sunday, September 10, 2023.

Though baseball proves to be the primary sport of choice for most of these young men, fall is the season for growing in other areas of interest as well. Currently, every player on the team has added multiple sports to their already busy schedules (soccer, football, basketball, and golf to name a few). It is said that multi-sport athletes display improved health and wellness, including decreased injury rates, improved athletic performance, improved leadership skills and teamwork, better attendance in school and better academic performance. Many play 3-4 of these sports in the "off" season while maintaining high levels of academic performance.

It takes a lot of self-control, organization, time management, self-awareness, perseverance, attitude, effort, and focus to do what these multi-sport athletes do and we are blessed to be able to be a part of it.

With that said, let's PLAY BALL!
